Kristin Combs

Director

Kristin’s deep-rooted connection to Peachtree and her extensive background make her an ideal leader for the Atlanta Zacchaeus Fellows program. Her skills in operations, marketing, and church ministries, paired with her expertise in curriculum design and facilitation, equip her to lead this important Peachtree Church ministry. A passion for nurturing and mentoring the next generation fuels her love for all things Fellows!

Outside of Fellows, Kristin and her husband Robert are parents to a junior in college and a senior in high school, and a 4-legged fur baby named Bennett.

Rev. Wes Nichols

Pastor for Young Adults

Rev. Wes Nichols is the Pastor for Community Life at Peachtree. One of the areas that he works with is Young Adults, so he is involved in helping the fellows build community with other people in their 20s at the church. Wes grew up attending Peachtree with his family. Wes was a Nashville Fellow after graduating from UGA, before returning to Peachtree to work in Student Ministry. After receiving his Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, he became a pastor at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas, Texas. In 2023, Wes returned to Peachtree for the second time.

Wes’ first-hand experience and knowledge of being a Fellow equips him to relate to what fellows walk through during their year and to give relational support during the program. He and his wife Caroline live in Brookhaven. In their spare time, they love trying fun restaurants, being outside, and watching UGA football.

Dr. Joe Skillen

Pastor for Teaching

Joe is the Teaching Pastor at Peachtree Church and serves as the Pastor for the Zacchaeus Fellows here in Atlanta. Joe's previous experience as a college professor, a campus chaplain, and a young adult pastor has helped to prepare him for this position.

Joe is married to his wife Ginger and has two teenaged children: daughter Avery and son Ezra. They are a hockey family, giving them a chance to travel with their teams all over the southeast to play. Joe also fundraises for the St. Jude Children's and Research Hospital in his spare time.

Joe enjoys working with the Zacchaeus Fellows program because of the young adults that we get to help on their journey. Joe believes that Peachtree benefits from the fellows in our program because they help us to be a local church that is suitable to help and serve God's purposes for the next generation.
